Starting the 2017 season off FAST

Our first race weekend of the season came and went very fast. In the week leading to the race we had swapped out our old shocks for a fresh set. Unfortunately the new shocks were actually too tall, making the car sit on the bump stops. We ended up putting our old shocks back on the car with fresh springs the day before the race.

In qualifying we set a 1:16.826 new personal best lap time and first in class. During our first race we managed to pull a 2nd place win after losing several positions in the first lap.

During the Sunday race we took the lead early and fended off Alex Della Torre's blue Miata the entire race with a all in after an incident on track. We even managed to pass the GT Lite CRX driven by Ryan Kristoff when his tires started cording near the end of the race. We finished 1st place in class and set an even faster personal best of 1:16.352 around Waterford Hills.

During the last race of the weekend, the drivers front wheel bearing started to get sloppy and I dialed back my driving a bit taking 2nd place in class.

A big thank you goes out to our sponsor Melanie Everett at Keller Williams EDS
